Starting in 2026, Bulgaria will introduce the Standard Audit File for Tax (SAF-T) reporting. Large enterprises with annual net revenue exceeding BGN 300 million or annual net tax and social security payments exceeding BGN 3.5 million will be required to comply first. The obligation will gradually extend to all businesses by 2030. SAF-T aims to streamline tax data exchange between businesses and authorities, enhancing transparency and efficiency.
